Mandate is a simulation exploring ancient Chinese history. Its content is influenced by popular strategy games, artificial intelligence techniques, and history itself. It is a multi-agent system in which characters (such as generals and sovereigns) move around the map and make decisions that have various strategic consequences.

Mandate was programmed in C# using Microsoft's XNA Framework. When installing Mandate, the XNA Framework will install itself onto your computer.
